Privacy at Seansio

Seansio separates what you browse, what you choose to share with a therapist, and what the platform needs to operate an account.

01

Browse before creating an account

You can explore therapist profiles, specialties, languages, session prices, and public availability without opening a client account.

02

Legal identity and therapist-facing aliases

Account support and protected operational records use the account identity. A chosen alias can appear in therapist-facing areas without replacing required identity records.

03

Relationship-level sharing choices

Settings can control whether selected profile details, mood history, or past diagnosis information are visible within an active care relationship.

04

Private journal by default

Journal entries stay in the client workspace unless you deliberately choose to share an entry. A therapist does not receive automatic access to private reflections.

05

Messages, bookings, and care plans

Conversation history, appointment changes, plan proposals, and cancellation records remain connected to the relevant client–therapist relationship for continuity and support.

06

Billing and support records

Receipts, payment-method labels, support tickets, and account-security events are handled separately from therapist-facing clinical information in the interface.

07

Access, correction, and deactivation controls

Connected account settings support profile and visibility changes plus reviewed account deactivation. Some records may require continued restricted retention.

08

Local testing boundary

This localhost environment uses seeded test accounts and sandbox subscription state. Do not enter real health, identity, card, banking, or emergency information while testing locally.
